Jugendstilsenteret and KUBE – Ålesund
Triumf
As a museum, we aim to be accessible to everyone, regardless of background or interest in art. An invisible barrier for many is the act of visiting places where art is displayed, such as galleries or museums. But what happens if art comes to you instead—at a football stadium?

15 Jan – 8 Mar 2026
To make art more accessible, we’ve invited the art collective Alt Går Bra to Ålesund. In collaboration with Aalesunds Football Club (AaFK), art enthusiasts, and football supporters, they will explore what happens when art and football meet—on each other’s home turf.
The first half will be on display from October 2 to November 2 at Color Line Stadium. In spaces usually filled with football fans, visitors will encounter a series of oil paintings that connect Jugendstil with the city’s football team.
The second half takes place at KUBE from January 15 to March 8. Here, the opposite will happen: elements from football culture reemerge as art within the museum’s walls.
What happens when art comes to the stadium—and football enters the museum?
