Lecture: French Art Nouveau Ceramics by Paul Arthur

Paul Arthur is a British archaeologist and Professor of Medieval Archaeology at the University of Salento, Italy. He has conducted fieldwork in Britain, France, Italy, Turkey, Libya, Israel, and Ukraine, and is the author of several specialist publications.

In the field of Art Nouveau, he has written extensively on French ceramics, with a focus on the artists and workshops behind their creation. He is the author of French Art Nouveau Ceramics: An Illustrated Dictionary (2015) and The Magic of Sèvres 1900 (2020), and serves as a consultant to collectors, dealers, and auction houses.
