Safe in harbour
The Safe Harbor exhibition is a meeting with «sunnmørslosen», the maritime pilots of Sunnmøre, from the Middle Ages to present day.
The exhibition is richly portrayed through stories, artifacts, audio and audience activities. Here you get a glimpse of the development of the boats through the years, their navigational history and the overall development of the «los institute». The exhibition also examines myths surrounding the maritime pilots, and how it was like to live in a «los family».
