The cooper profession was one of the crafts that evolved with the demand of new packaging. Inventor Henrik Olai Olsen – nicknamed «Patent Olsen» – was one of the very first to mechanize the barrel production in Norway. In this exhibition his cooperage, dating back to the early 1900s, can be experienced.
