Meet the ghost Aarsille

Aarsille is an app that uses augmented reality, where you meet the ghost of Aarsille Strøm (1724-1748). She was the sister of the well-known enlightenment priest Hans Strøm (1726-1797).

Aarsille takes you on a different trip in the open-air museum, where you also meet other characters.

By using AR, animation, storytelling and challenges, you and your new virtual friends experience the old houses and history in a new way.

The app has been developed in collaboration with children and young people, and is also a research project.
